Job Description: Visual Designer
We are looking for a visual designer with top notch skills and fluent english. To make it in this game, you will need to make decisions and solve problems on the fly and be comfortable in a fast paced environment. You will spend four days a week at our client's premises in Espoo working with our Project Manager and their team, and one day at the Sheep pen in Kamppi, Helsinki.Main responsibilities:
You will work hand-in-hand with our client's team. You will be responsible for making visual changes and collaborating with an international design team. Your main responsibility will be aligning the visual design (PSD work) with the front-end team (HTML/CSS/JS work). You will also be expected to design and think through interaction challenges as they come up during the build phase of the project. Your days will be filled with many exciting challenges, both large and small. This is not a typical designer role for sure!
Requirements:
- Degree in visual design (or related field)
- Experience designing web site interactions (versus marketing campaign work)
- 3-5 years experience in a visual design role
- Expert in Photoshop
- Ability to produce clean Photoshop files to be shared among other team members
- Significant knowledge and practice using HTML/CSS and familiarity with Javascript
- Extremely detail oriented
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
