Want to do something special for your friend’s birthday? Say it with Skype!

Skype wanted to promote its Group video calling feature which is exclusive for Skype users with Premium accounts. In collaboration with 1000heads, White Sheep Isobar created the Say It With Skype app that enables users to create unique video greetings to their friends. Instead of just writing a boring text post on someone’s Wall on Facebook, users can now send videos of them singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to their mates – and have celebrities (Imogen Heap, Ash and CSS just to name a few) perform with them! The app quickly became a news item as websites such as Mashable and Übergizmo cited its publication. Why all this Skype hype?
