Christmas is about giving, being together, eating Christmas food – and for Skype users, it’s about sending videos filled Christmas cheer to friends.

In collaboration with London-based 1000heads, we created the Say It with Skype Facebook app – a concept that enabled better ways to greet our friends and family - all with the feeling of Skype Premium’s group video calling.

We continued our very successful collaboration with a seasonal update. The Merry Xmas with Skype campaign allowed users to perform Christmas carols with artists like Alice Cooper and Boyz II Men. This really helped people stand out from all those generic social media "Season’s Greetings".

The entire Say It with Skype campaign has been a terrific success so far: over 30 000 videos have been created, the app has received some 460 000 visits on Facebook and Skype.com and the Skype Premium trial activation page has received 23 000 visits.
