Wanted: Senior Art Director
Behold: what's more or less a goodbye letter from Samuli, our senior art director. The little fancypants is moving to a different country in search of fame and fortune. We're sad to see him go, lots of tears, boo hoo hoo, and so on.
The upshot is we're looking for a new senior art director to replace him. Well, maybe not "replace". You don't have to be the same guy as Samuli. You don't have to be as hairy. You certainly don't have to be a guy. Hopefully you're not as big a dickhead, though we can handle it if you are.
You do, however, have to be an outstanding creative talent, a generator of new ways to inspire brand love in people. You have to be capable of creating on-brief concepts and identities – your work will serve as the artistic compass for client projects from start to finish. You should have lots of ideas for new business, the wackier the better but with our clients' goals in mind. You do have to have outstanding leadership skills and be both a guiding light for our creative team and an inspiration for our customers. And you do have to have a good sense of humor. Whether you choose to appear half-naked in a recruitment ad is up to you.
